Club rules and dress code

Golf Club Gut Murstӓtten has its own set of rules and regulations that are to be followed at all times when on the club’s grounds. These not only refer to behaviour during a round, the dress code both on the course and at event organised by the club but also with regards to all facilities and materials provided by the club . It is in the interest of all members and guests of Golf Club Gut Murstӓtten that we request all visitors abide by these requirements.

Club Rules

  1. All towels that are provided in the changing rooms are property of the club and should be placed in the available laundry baskets after use. Towels may neither be taken out of the changing rooms nor be kept in the changing room cabinets.  All wash items that are left lying around will be disposed of by cleaning staff.
  2. All other items provided by the club in the changing rooms, such as hair brushes and shoe horns) are also property of the club.
  3. The pavilion area on the lake is only available to full members of Golf Club Gut Murstӓtten and is available only for relaxation and swimming purposes during the summer months . This area is closed from 6pm every day. When in this area, we ask that people respect other golfers on their round – please do not forget that you are on a golf course! Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by and adult at all times in this area.
  4. No-one may attend the pavilion area outside of the opening hours for any purposes whatsoever.
  5. Dogs are not permitted to enter the pavilion area under any circumstance for reasons of hygiene.
  6. There are water containers available around the course. These are meant to provide refreshment to all players and not provide players with an opportunity to fill up empty water bottles.

Dress Code

For Gentlemen

  • Shirts or Polo’s with short or long sleaves and collar. T-shirts without collars or tank tops are forbidden.
  • All shirts must be tucked into trousers at all times.
  • Casual and sport shorts which are too short are not permitted neither are jeans or jean shorts.
  • Socks should be worn at all times and shoes should either be spike less or bear soft spikes.
  • Sandals, shoes with studs or similar soles are not permitted.

For Ladies

  • Golf shirts with or without a collar may be worn, but the shirt must cover the bearer’s shoulders.
  • “Spaghetti tops” are not permitted.
  • Shorts and skirts should have a respectable length.
  • Socks should be worn at all times and shoes should either be spike less or bear soft spikes.
  • Sandals, shoes with studs or similar soles are not permitted.

NO BLUE JEANS!
